vintagesomalia: vintagesomalia: Welcome to Mogadishu 1992. It’s always been easy to get arms into Somalia. The amount of bullet holes in Mogadishu is unbelievable. It goes to show you how intense the fighting was in 1991 and how much arms played a big role. They still do today. The country is flooded with arms.

vintagesomalia: Somali school children in Somalia. The kids uniforms are very Somali ( in terms of colors I mean). Their teacher looks hip too. I wonder what happened to this generation of children who enjoyed education, peace, and opportunities non existent today in Somalia.
